2010-2011 Newsletter
Dear Members:
I trust that everyone had a good summer vacation and we looking forward to starting our new year at the Mobile Claims Association with our first meet and greet meeting to be held on September 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Buffalo Wild Wings located on Airport Boulevard map. There will not be a regular scheduled meeting in September but I encourage everyone to attend to socialize and we will also be collecting dues at that time. The association will provide hors d'oeuvres and the meeting room at Buffalo Wild Wings is located behind the bar area.
We are very excited about this coming year and if anyone is interested in attending or providing training for the continuing education units please notify Chuck Stewart. Chuck has been very gracious in providing his time and efforts in the continuing education classes and is also making arrangements for the golf tournament in November. We will have more information for you concerning the golf tournament which is going to be held at the Springhill Golf Course.
We are in the process of getting the speakers scheduled for each regular meeting beginning in October and would encourage your feedback as to the type of speakers and topics that you would prefer. If you are interested in providing a speaker, please contact our vice president Camie Lupinacci.
The second annual summer BBQ was at Dr. Bill & Randi Crotwell’s house and we really appreciate them hosting this event again this year. We had great turnout for this event and a good time was had by all. We really appreciate the sponsors that assisted in making this event possible as well as, the hard work and efforts by Linda Nichols and the staff at AOC. We look forward to future events this coming year. The sponsors for the BBQ are listed below; again thank you for your contributions.
Please let us know if you are able to sponsor an event this year. Without the support of our gracious sponsors we would not be able to provide the events and raise money for local charities.
Please mark your calendars for the meet and greet for September 7th at Buffalo Wild Wings. The October meeting with a speaker and business meeting to follow will be held at the Olive Garden located on Airport Boulevard. The Christmas party this year will be held at the Inca Palace on Halls Mill Road and that is scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2010.
Please invite someone you know to the Claims Association and we welcome any feedback and comments to assist in growing the Association and providing the type of speakers and events that will be beneficial to you. We are looking forward to another great year at Mobile Claims and I look forward to seeing everyone in September.
